YHWH’s Feast Days
YHWH's Feast Days are not determined by man's calendar, but His. He placed the sun, moon, stars and planets to be a clock for us. For example, we determine each new month on His calendar by observing the "New Moon"

The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths / Sukkot
The Feast of Tabernacles (also know as SUKKOT) is a time of Celebration and represents some very exciting things for believers:
- this is one of Yahweh's Feasts and it is a "statute forever" for His children (Lev. 23:41)
- rerinds us of how God delivered His Children from Egypt, and how Israel dwelt in tents (succa) for 40 years in the wilderness on the way to the Promised land (Lev. 23:43)
- it is a time of rejoicing which follows a time of repentance with the Day of Atonement (Lev. 23:32-34)
- it is also called the Feast of Ingathering representing the end of year harvest (Exodus 23:16)
- foretells the coming Millennial kingdom, when our King, the Messiah, will again "tabernacle with us" and we will celebrate the Feast with Him in the future (Zech. 14)
- Jesus the Messiah (Yeshua) was born in Bethlehem probably during Sukkot, while the shepherds were in the fields, since the shepherds are not in the fields in December. He was placed in a manger because there was no room at the Inn. (Luke 2:7-12). The Romans took a census in Jerusalem at this time, taking advantage of the fact all Hebrews (all twelve tribes including the tribe of Judah/Jews) had to be in Jerusalem for Sukkot (which is why there was no room at the Inn). Bethlehem is very close to Jerusalem and provided "overflow" for Jerusalem.
- brings to life the meaning of the "word became flesh and 'tabernacled' with us" (John 1:14)
As transcribed from Bill Sanford – The Torah thought for the day. – Hebrew Nation Radio - http://www.hebrewnationradio.com/
"Apparently the Feast Days were preordained and used for special events, even before the Hebrews were commanded to observe them after coming out of Egypt. For example, the spring Feast of Passover commonly called Feast of Unleavened bread, was very significant to Abraham for it was on this day that Abraham entered into covenant with YHWH by being circumcised. Both he and Ishmael and all Abraham’s male servants. The promised son Isaac was actually born on this date, and according to the book of Jasher, Abraham even offered up Isaac on the altar of sacrifice on this very day. In fact, according to Exodus 12:41, 430 years to the very day that Abraham entered into the covenant with YHWH, the Hebrews were delivered from bondage, walked out of Egypt and naturally, it is no coincidence that Yeshua was crucified on this Feast as well.
Just understanding some of these significant events concerning some of the covenant promises YHWH made with us and how they were preordained to transpire on the Feast Days gives us a glimpse of their relevancy and why Father has commanded that we observe the Feasts for all eternity, so we may never forget each step required, for our redemption and the fulfillment of Torah. Under the new covenant the promises of the Abrahamic covenant are still valid and according to Yeshua, Abraham is still our spiritual Father and the Father of our faith. Is it any wonder why satan has fought so hard to cause believers to forsake the true Feast Days?
The celebration of the counterfeit easter and thus legally prevent us from receiving the blessing by forsaking Father’s Torah. Our advisory knows full well, if he can cause us to forsake the Torah, even in ignorance, that he can legally attack us". - Bill Sanford – The Torah thought for the day. – Hebrew Nation Radio - http://www.hebrewnationradio.com/
The Kingdom Picture
Zachariah 14:18 .
18 If the family of Egypt (Egypt represents the world) will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
Does this still sound like the Feasts Days are just for the Jews, to you?
Foreshadows and types follow the one making the shadow. If someone (Yeshua) is standing in front of the sun and they are casting a shadow, if you are coming to him, what are you going to enter first? His shadow. When you understand His shadow (feasts and observances) and you continue in it, where does it lead you? To His feet. That’s what the commandments (including the Feast Days) are designed to do. Jim Staley - Passion for Truth Ministries -
