Identity Crisis - Who Is Israel? You might be surprised!
The most misunderstood thing in the Bible is who Israel is.
Who do you say Israel is?
1. The Jews
2. The Country in the Middle East that is always fighting Arabs
3. Jacob of the Old Testament
4. The Church
5. Christians
When the New Testament was being written, there were two things that didn’t exist; The New Testament and the Church.
Question: When the New Testament writers were teaching and writing, what were they using as their only dictionary to formulate the opinions and words they chose? Answer: The Old Testament, and specifically the Torah (first five books).
If we are going to understand what they are teaching in the New Testament, we have to go back to the beginning (the Old Testament/Torah).
If we want to understand who we are, prophecies, the anti-Christ, and who our ancestors are, should we look to the future, or past?
Since Israel is YHWH's people, they did not start with Jacob. Israel started in the garden. To find it, we need to look for a pattern (the purpose or characteristic of a pattern as it repeats). In the Garden of Eden, it was a good pattern. It was never meant to change. It was designed to be duplicated over and over again. The Bible says YHWH never changes. Lets see for ourselves.
From the begining: Gen. 2:16&17
16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The plan from the beginning
1 His Spirit would move among them
2 They had covenant restrictions that had blessings and curses attached to them.
3 They were to trust Him that he meant what He said. (live by faith)
YHWH would be with us on the condition that we would obey His voice (commands) and conditions (precepts and statutes) through faith.
God chose Noah. Why? Gen 6:8&9
8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
As we discovered from Adam, walking with YHWH means obeying Him and keeping his precepts and statutes.
Why did God choose Abraham? Gen. 26:5
5Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
The pattern does continue. Abraham walked with YHWH because he also kept YHWHs laws and statutes, but the ten commandments weren’t given on Mt. Sinai yet!
There was a covenant before we call it a covenant. It was in the garden when it was “very good”. He didn’t have to write it down.
The pattern of YHWH:
They don’t listen: Tell them again
They still don’t listen: Tell them again over and over
They still don’t listen: Write it down
They still don’t listen: Go down there!
Father Abraham
Genesis 22:15-18 (when Abraham was tested by being willing to offer up his only son, which the angel stopped him from completing)
15And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Obedience AND faith - In the Hebraic thought process, there is no difference between faith and works. In Hebraic (Biblical) thought, a work done without faith is not a work and faith without works is dead.
Israel is a blessed people.
From Abraham to Isiaac Gen. 26:4
4And I will make thy (Abraham's) seed (Isaac)to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
From Jacob to Israel Gen. 32:28
28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
The pattern – What they look like (how they live).
When the angel touches his hip, it is dislocated, so from that time on, he walks differently. The significance: you can tell who he is by his walk.
Israel comes away blessed (with a name change).
The highest blessing YHWH can give mankind is his name.
When you change the name, you change the mission. So if you don’t know your name you don’t know your mission.
When someone is adopted, the natural thing for them to want to do is find who their parents are. That road always leads you to your father. That’s why it is key to understand who you are in Messiah.
From Least to Greatest
Jacob=One who grabs the heel, Supplanter, deceiver, to usurp, least in household
Israel=One who rules with God through struggling with God, head of household
You cannot rule with YHWH if you don’t struggle with YHWH.
Israel had 12 different sons by 4 different wives
~ list them
We will look at two. Judah and Joseph.
The Firstborn Blessing
1. Kingship, preeminence, head of household blessing
2. Double material portion
The firstborn got the double material portion because it was his responsibility to take care of the family’s shortcomings. If one of the other brothers died, he was to take care of the widow.
Jacob decided to divide (split up between Ehriam and Menassah) the firstborn blessing. This was the only blessing that was split. Preemeninance to Judah (the firstborn by default, because the first three messed up and lost the blessing (lineage and bloodline are not as important as obedience), and...
We have man’s firstborn, and YHWYs firstborn.
The Blessing For Judah – Preemenence Gen. 49:8-10
“Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father’s children shall bow down before you. 9 Judah is a lion’s whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him? The scepter shall not depart from Judah,
Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
Who keeps the commandments like the Jews? The problem is, they also keep the man-made commandments with them.
To this day: Don’t mess with Israel Gen.27:29
Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!”
Shilo is the Messiah
The tribe of Judah was given the priestly authority over the rest of the tribes and the law until the Messiah came. Judah today does not understand that. They believe they still have that authority, because they didn't recognize the Messiah (Yeshua) when He came.
Today no tribe has authority over any other. We are all the same. We are all brothers.
Judah had the priesthood until Messiah. Now the Messiah has the priesthood authority.
Judah is not now lower. We have a lot to learn from them. It’s just a role that has changed.
Joseph was the favorite of Jacob, because he was the firstborn of Rachel who he loved.
Joseph was more blessed than even Isaac, even though Isaac was to have descendents as numerous as the stars in the heavens.
The Blessing Continues – Ephriam and Manasseh Gen. 48:19
19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.”
When Jacob went to bless his grandchildren, he placed his right hand on the first born (Manasseh) and his left hand on the second born (Ephriam), then he crossed his arms and switched the blessing giving Ephriam the firstborn blessing.
A Closer Look
And His descendants shall become a multitude of nations
The Hebrew word is: melo ha’ goyim = “Fullness of the Gentiles” gentiles=not one of us
From Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob, to EPHRIAM
“EPHRIAM who now carried the blessing of the “House Of Israel”, was to be a “Multitude of Nations (a “melting pot”?)
The chosen people started off in Canan, went to Egypt, then back to Canan just like Adam started out in the Garden of Eden.
The Greatest Prophecy That Has Never Happened
A lot of the Christian church is interested in prophecy, but the greatest prophecy is largely ignored by them and it has never come true. Standing At The Jordan River YHWHs chosen people are about to cross over into the promised land. Deut. 28:15 but YHWH says there is something I want you to know…
“If You Don’t Follow Me”… When you disobey you will be scattered among the nations. Deuteronomy 28:64
64 “Then the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone.
The Pattern Is Still The Same
1. My Spirit will be among you if you…
2. Keep my commandments
3. Through faith
Back To The Israelites
Deut. 29:24,25 – because they have forsaken the covenant
24 “All nations would say, ‘Why has the Lord done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?’ 25 Then people would say: ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt;
There is a consequence for not obeying the covenant. What happened when Adam and Eve (Chava) sinned? Did they get to stay in the Garden? No.
The pattern is the same.
Deuteronomy. 30:1-4
“Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you, 2 and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you.
In the last days they will get sick of the curse and remember the covenant. They will remember who they are. "You shall posses it" means they are not currently in the land (can’t go back to something if you are already there).
It was the plan and the purpose and the pattern from the beginning; Adam would love Him with all his heart , with all his mind, with all his soul. That the commandment given would be on his heart, so YHWH wouldn’t have to write it down.
At the time of Kings, the Israelites wanted a king, so they chose Saul (bad choice). Yeshua was supposed to be their king. Mt. Sini was at the Feast of Penticost. The giving of the Spirit was supposed to be next. Then the commandments, but the people said to YHWH "don’t talk to us anymore or we’ll die". Was He supposed to stop? "Moses, go up and be our mediator".
It was supposed to be personal relationship in the Garden, with Noah, with Abraham, with the people. It was us that didn’t want the personal relationship. "Moses, go up and have the personal relationship and let us know how it goes".
Three kings: Saul, David and Solomon. Under these three kings, all twelve tribes were governed until…
Solomon blew it. 1Kings 11:31
And he said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and will give ten tribes to you
1 Kings: 33. Ashteroth = Ishtar = Easter. (according to Edomology anglosized word)
33 because they have forsaken Me, and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the people of Ammon, and have not walked in My ways to do what is right in My eyes and keep My statutes and My judgments, as did his father David.
Ten Tribes went north and were eventually scattered among the nations. Two tribes ; Judah and Benjamin (the tribe of Levi didn't count because they were priests and were the only tribe to never be given land by YHWH) stayed in the south (Jerusalem).
After Solomon died, his son Rehoboam became king, and he reigned from Jerusalem in the south (the southern part of Israel), like other kings before him. He thinks he is going to be over all twelve tribes, but Rehoboam wouldn’t repeal the heavy taxes of his father Solomon from the tribes in the north, so the 10 tribes decided to form their own kingdom and ask Jeroboam (the servant of Solomon) to be their king.
The Kingdom Is Split
The 10 tribes in the North were called the “House of Israel”, (“House of Joseph” or just “Ehriam”).
The 2 tribes in the Southern Kingdom were called the “House of Judah” because Judah was the dominant tribe of the two main tribes.
They were warned but because of their continual breaking of the Covenant that was given to Adam, then Noah, then Abraham and finally written down through Moses, they were taken captive by the King of Assyria in 722B.C.
Judah Taken to Babylon
The House of Judah also played the harlot and was taken into captivity in 586B.C. into Babylon for 70 years.
After having the things that identified them as YHWH's people (keeping the seventh day Sabbath, YHWH's Feast Days and New Moon celebrations, tzit sits etc.) forcefully removed from them, when they were allowed to come back, the Northern tribes (“House of Israel”) did not come back. Instead they scattered among the nations.
Most of the House of Judah did come back. Judah=Judites=Jews
When people think of Israel, they think of the land, or the Jews, but Israel is not the Jews. Israel is the Northern tribes that were scattered among the nations.
The Northern tribes exist today, but IN A FORM WE CAN'T SEE. All that is going to change in the end times.
Remember when the Israelites were standing on the banks of the Jordan river, when YHWH said “If you break my commandments I will send you to the uttermost parts of the Earth. At the end of time I will bring you back.
The 10 tribes were taken into captivity and disbursed all across Assyria.
Over time, they assimilated into the nations and became as gentiles (goyim). Over the next two thousand years, they completely lost their identity.
Israel is divorced. This is the problem.
Jer. 3:8 ~ certificate of divorce; They broke the covenant. But how can that be when according to the prophecies, He says Israel is his bride and they will be gathered back to him in the end of time(Jer 31:10)?
The law of YHWY says that if a woman commits adultery and her husband puts her away and gives her a certificate of divorce, and if she marries another man, and that man divorces her, she cannot go back to her original husband.
Jeremiah 50:17, Micah 2:12, Ezekiel 11:16, Ezekiel 34:12, Ezekiel 20:41, Ezekiel 20:34, Jer 31:10
77% of people learn by word pictures. That’s why YHWH uses so many word pictures.
Jeremiah 23:6-8
6 The Lord said also to me in the days of Josiah the king: “Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain (pagan worship) and under every green tree, and there played the harlot. 7 And I said, after she had done all these things, ‘Return to Me.’ But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. 8 Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also.
To the Jews, the greatest story of the Bible is the exodus. The greatest exodus is yet to come!
The word picture of the Bible is a shepherd with his sheep.
We have two nations. Originally they were one. The Northern nation called the House of Israel broke YHWHs covenant (committed adultery) and were divorced. Those sheep were driven into the farthest part of the land and became lost. The definition of the lost sheep is the House of Israel.
The Mosiac covenant is a mosaic covenant. Many many members, one body
The Dividic Picture Psalms 103:17-18
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, 18 To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
To those who keep His covenant
Solomon, the wisest man in the Bible said: Fear YHWH and keep His commandments. It is the full duty of man
The Olive Tree
What is the olive tree? Jeremiah 11:16 (speaking about His people Israel)
YHWH called your name, Green Olive Tree, Lovely and of Good Fruit. With the noise of a great tumult He has kindled fire on it, And its branches are broken. 17 “For the Lord of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced doom against you for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke Me to anger in offering incense to Baal.”
And it became two. One is cultivated (the House of Judah), and one is wild (the House of Israel).
The two sticks become one. Ezekiel 37:16-22
“As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’ 17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand. 18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Will you not show us what you mean by these?’— 19 say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’ 20 And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes. 21 “Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.
The word stick is mistranslated. The Hebrew word is Et. It means tree. He is speaking to the Son of Man, who is Shiloh (Yeshua).
From the perspective of YHWH, there is one mission: To re-unite the clans. Vs. 23
They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
David is my servant.
“I will be their God (Eloheim), they will be my people”. We have it backwards. We say He is our God (Eloheim).
He says: "If you are going to live in My house, you will live by My rules".
Vs. 26, 27
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore. 27 My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Most Christians want to talk about the new covenant, but not the next covenant (the fulfillment of the new covenant). in vs. 27 . This has not happened yet.
The Charastics of the House of Judah
- They have the law of YHWY. Gen. 49:10
- They will reject the Messiah (prophecied)
- They did not lose their identity because they came back after captivity.
- They are called “Those who are near” (Daniel 9:7)
The Charastics of the House of Israel (Ephriam)
- They are from the Northern tribe.
- They were dispersed into all the nations after their captivity
- They live among the gentiles (Hosea 8:8)
- They have forgotten the name of their God (calling Him God/Lord). Jeramiah 23:27 we sing blessed be the name of the Lord…what is His name? YHWH (Yahweh)
- They are a wealthy people Gen. (49:22)
- They do not know or understand the law of YHWH. (Hosea 8:10-12)
- They are called :”not my people” “sons of the living god” (Hos. 2:23)
- They are called “those that are far off” (Isiah 57:19)
- They are called“lost sheep” (Jeremiah 50:6)
- The majority of them when they are gathered, will come from the West (Hosea 13:15)
- It is prophesied he would write down the law, give it to Judah, but Ephriam would consider it strange.. . Until now that is!
The Cherokee Jubilee Stone
In the Tennessee Museum is the Cherokee Jubilee Stone. This stone discovered by archeologists has holes in it. One for every fifty years. According to Moses, every fifty years is a Jubilee year. Also on the stone are scratch marks that happen to fall on all of YHWHs feasts (Holy Days). The Cherokees were celebrating the Jewish feasts? Remember they aren’t the Jewish feasts, they are YHWHs feasts.
Archaeologists have found every tribe of American Indians was of Hebrew origin. They have even found hieroglyphics on a 70 foot wall in a cave, written in ancient paleo Hebrew.
Do you think YHWH meant it when He said “I will scatter them throughout the whole world?
The very first Yeshua was mentioned in the New Testament, was referring to an Old Testament prophecy. Luke 1:31…and His name shall be called Emanuel /Yeshua (salvation)…and YHWH will give Him the throne of His father David…
The prophecy says at the end of time the Messiah the King Shilo (Yeshua) will come and be the Great Shepherd over the throne of David (which is over the people of Israel also known as the House of Jacob). He will reign over the twelve tribes. And there are twelve gates in the New City of Jerusalem.
Why Did The Messiah Come? He came and died for both Houses of Israel
John 11:51-52
Now this he (Ciafous) did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation (Judah) vs 52 and not for that nation only but also that he would gather together in one the children of God (YHWH) who were scattered abroad.
Ciafus did not pull that out of a hat! He knew the scriptures.
Acts 1:6 Therefore when they had come together, they asked Him, saying “Lord, will You at this time restore the Kingdom of Israel?” It is even on the hearts of the disciples.
Has the pattern changed? Has the purpose changed? Has the mission changed?
James 1:1
James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings.
What is on the heart and mind of James?
Not the twelve tribes and all the pagans out there, Just the twelve tribes (sheep?).
John 10:14-16
I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
Those that believe in Yeshua are the sheep.
Remember at this time (the first century) there are no “Christians”, and there is no New Testament yet, so we have to use the dictionary the only one that existed at that time; Old Testament.
Yeshua says “I am the Shepherd, I know my sheep. I’m going to call to my sheep. They will hear my voice if they are my sheep. Vs. 15 “I lay my life down for the sheep.
The sheep are the twelve tribes of Israel. The lost sheep are the ten.
Matt 15:24
But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
He came because there was someone missing in his family. So if they are scattered among the world, how does He know where they are? Go to all the nations and preach the Gospel, that I can bring my sheep home.
Still the same pattern
Matthew 19:17
17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good?[f] No one is good but One, that is, God.[g] But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Keep my covenant, do it by faith.
Do you believe Yeshua is God? If so, when he said “If you love me, keep my commandments”, which commandments did He mean? . Since He wrote all of them, don’t you think he meant all of them? You can’t say it was just the ones he reinterated in the New Testament. You can’t separate them from the one who wrote them.
1John 5:2&3
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
There is a reason it says His commandments (not man’s commandments), because man's commandments were a a burden to keep. That's why whenever he had a chance, Yeshua broke them (man's commandments) to show they weren't to be kept.
James 1:22-24
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty (Torah) and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Rev 12:17
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yeshua.
The people of God are defined as those who keep the commandments of YHWH and believe in Yeshua.
See a new pattern in the Older Testament? No. See the old pattern in the New Testament? Yes.
Rev 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua.
The Kingdom Picture
Zachariah 14:18 .
18 If the family of Egypt (Egypt represents the world) will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
Does this still sound like the Feasts Days are just for the Jews, to you?
Foreshadows and types follow the one making the shadow. If someone (Yeshua) is standing in front of the sun and they are casting a shadow, if you are coming to him, what are you going to enter first? His shadow. When you understand His shadow (feasts and observances) and you continue in it, where does it lead you? To His feet. That’s what the commandments are designed to do.
Peace To Those Who Are Far Off
Ephesians 2:11&12
Do you think Paul (who was a great rabi) had most of the Tanach memorized, knew when he chose the words “far off” knew what he was saying?
Vs. 13-16
He didn’t abolish the commandments, He abolished the hatred between the two trees and the commandments and ordinences they made against each other. To create one new man with one King.
Both one. Both what one? Both olive trees. That split into two kingdoms to begin with.
Eph 2:17
Isiah 57:18&19
If we read the whole Bible we will understand what Paul is saying.
Back to Ephesians chapter 2:18&19
Using the Old Testament to define the the phrase “The Household of God” is defined as “The Household of Israel”.
The sheep of Israel (the twelve tribes)
Romans 11:24,25
The mystery of the Bible is how are the Northern ten tribes going to get back when they are lost, and when they have been divorced?
Grafted Into What?
Romans 11:24
When was the last time you saw that term “the fullness of the gentiles”? The blessing of Ephriam.
When the fullness of Ephriam comes home, then their eyes will be opened. It’s all planned.
He has a plan, so let’s stop getting mad at mankind for not getting it.
Fullness Of The Gentiles
Genesis 48:19
Romans 11:26-28
Their eyes have been blind until the fullness of the gentiles has come in.
All Israel will be saved “as it is written” Isiah 59:20 “From the House of Israel”
There is only one elect people of the Bible. The children of Israel (Northern tribes) YHWH pre-destined His people to come back.
Have you ever wondered why pagan gentiles that hated the Jews would so readily accept a “Jewish” Messiah?
Divorce? Jer 3:8
How can the House of Israel ever be re-gathered and restored to the King if they are divorced as His bride?
Romans 7:1-4 Dead to that law. The purpose of Yeshua coming was not just to pay for the sin of Adam, it was not just to pay for the sins of Israel, It was so He could re-marry His bride. Israel was divorced and the angels called it a mystery. Paul called it a mystery, but the mystery is solved because When Yeshua died, it released His bride (Israel) from His law of not being re-married to Him. He is smarter than we are.
What do you think the whole “Marriage Supper” thing is all about? Re-marriage. His bride has finally made herself ready (she was lost) Rev. 19:7
Is It Really All About “Israel”(the Chosen People)?
- 12 tribes with one King/12 disciples with one king
- 12 baskets left over full of bread
- Jesus says in Matt. 19:28 So Jesus said to them “Assuredly I say to you, that in the restoration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
- Yeshua heals a girl that is 12.
- He starts teaching in the Temple when he was 12.
- He says that there are 12 hours during the day (John 11:9).
- 12 Months in a year.
- In Revelation, there are 12,000 from each tribe that are sealed.
- 12 Angels
- 24 elders (2 from each tribe)
- 12 gates with 12 pearls each
- 12 constellations in the heavens
- A Tree of Life that produces 12 fruits for each of the 12 months
The two doors of the temple in the New Jerusalem are made of what kind of wood? Olive Wood, because Israel is the olive tree.
Prof. C.A.L. Totten (1851-1908), of Yale University, was quoted:
For example, “I can never be too thankful to the Almighty that in my youth he used the late Professor Wison to show me the difference between the two houses. The very understanding of this difference is the KEY by which almost the entire Bible becomes intelligible, and I cannot state too strongly that the man who has not yet seen that Israel of the Scripture is totally distinct from the Jewish people, is yet in the very infancy, the mere alphabet, of Biblical study, and that to this day the meaning of seven-eights of the Bible is shut to his understanding”
ONE GOD (YAHWEH)
ONE COVENANT
ONE LAW
ONE MESSIAH (YESHUA)
ONE PEOPLE… AND THEIR NAME IS
ISRAEL
