In 4th Century A.D., Constantine built his capital in what is called Istanbul, Turkey today. He called it Constantinopal.
Before Constantine, Christianity was an illegal movement. After a few decades, it would become the religion of the Roman Empire, but Yeshua (Jesus) wouldn’t recognize the religion He created, because it does not resemble the faith He practiced and taught His disciples.
In the 4th Century AD, the Roman Empire was divided into four major areas. Each region had its own ruler, but when Constantine’s father who ruled the western part died in the year 306 his army declared Constantine the ruler of the entire Roman Empire. In the year 312 Constantine was pitted against the general Maxentius, to control the central region which included the city of Rome. The frescos painted in the Vatican tell the story of Constantine converting to Christianity, but a much older artifact tells a different story.
The Arch of Constantine
He had his arch built in the city of Rome to celebrate his victory over Maxentius, . The arch was built right next to The Coliseum where Christians were once killed for sport. The arch is six Stories high. From fear of damage, for the last thirty years, the department of antiquities in Rome has not given anyone permission to examine it up close; until now. It is Constantine’s victory arch and on it he sculpted the narrative of his victory over Maxentius at the Milvian Bridge.
Though Constantine’s forces were outnumbered, he was said to have had a vision of a cross and a dream of Jesus that changed his life. In that moment he was said to have denounced the Roman paganism he was brought up with in favor of Christianity. He ordered his soldiers to paint their shields and banners with the symbol of the cross and led his army to victory. He then led the entire Roman world to the Christian faith.
When we look from top to bottom at the Arch of Constantine, which is our best source written in stone, we see there is something missing in every part of it. Though there are plenty of soldier’s shields depicted, there are no crosses on them. Though there are many banners depicted, there are no crosses on them. In fact, on the entire six-story arch, there are no crosses anywhere. In other words, there is no trace of Christianity on the monument at all.
Christian Soldiers
In Constantine’s day you had to win over the Roman army. But the Roman army persecuted Christians, so there wouldn’t have been Christians in the Roman army, or would there?

Constantine’s rise to power began in what is Northern England today (which would have been the outskirts of the
Roman territory). In that area
there is a place called Hadrian’s Wall on the Scottish border, where there are
many remains of Roman forts. It is among these ruins that there are signs of Christians in the Roman army. As part of the evidence, crosses were discovered carved in what would have been barracks in which the Roman soldiers lived. It is also likely there were
Christians in Maxentius’ army as well. There is evidence which suggests the image of Maxentius as being an evil tyrant was fabricated. Is it possible the image of Constantine as a Christian has also been fabricated?
Was Constantine a true Christian? The most important statement we have of him is his arch in Rome.
As stated earlier, there are no Christian symbols whatsoever on it, but there are pagan symbols. On one panel, Constantine is surrounded by pagan gods. Constantine only accepted Christian ideas to gain favor with the Roman soldiers. He needed control of the officer corps and the Roman elite, but many of these classes were part of a cult called myrthaism named after a Mediteranian sun god named mithrus. It appears Constantine mixed Christianity with mythriism to gain control of the entire Roman world.
Hadrian’s Wall
Near the fort in Carrawburgh England, at Hadrian’s wall, another fort was discovered in 1949. In it, were the remains of a special temple built by Roman officers that were devoted to the pagan god myrthas. By its small size, it is apparent that only officers and elite worshiped there. At the front was a statue of mythras with a spiked crown or halo that was hollow so that it would glow with a candle behind it. This is similar to the halo that surrounds the head of Jesus depicted in statues and paintings, as well as on stained glass windows in churches.

Mythra temples like this have been found all over the Roman Empire. More often than not, these temples have been found under the first Christian churches. For example under the Santa Prisca Church in Rome Italy, excavators pulled the floor of the church and discovered one of the largest mythraic temples ever found. This is where the Roman elite would worship in secret. On the front where there is an image of mythras, there are words carved that say “you have saved us through the shedding of the eternal blood”.
Many of the myrthic rituals resembled Christian rituals such as communion with the body and the blood, by sharing a meal of bread and wine. And just as Jesus was said to die and resurrect, so was mythras. Along with the image of mythras, is the image of the pagan god osirus which is the dying and resurrecting god of the Egyptians. This may be why there were so many Christians among the soldiers and mythra worshipers among the officers and elite, because both Jesus and mythra represented resurrection after death. Being constantly faced with the possibility of death, they would have clung to the hope of resurrection.
Mythra’s followers celebrated his birth on December 25th, which is why it is important to celebrate Yeshua’s real birthday on the Feast of Tabernacles (around September), rather than lump Him together with several pagan gods such as mithra who were said to be born on December 25th which was the feast of saturnalia, that lasted 12 days. At this time, people were expected to give gifts to one another.
Identified By The Hat
Identified By The Hat
In a scene painted on the ceiling of a famous church, there is a depiction of the three wise men bringing gifts to Jesus, but each man is wearing a special hat known as being worn by priests of mythra. There are many figures on Constantine’s Arch that are wearing this hat.
Eusephius
Eusephius
There is evidence that suggests Constantine’s vision was a postscript to his victory over Maxentius. While Constantine was alive, there was only one church father that recorded the events of his life. His name was Eusephius. He was Constantine’s sole biographer and his right hand man in the Christian world. According to Constantine, it was at the Milvian Bridge that he had his vision of the cross and dream in which Jesus approached him, inspiring him to win the battle and change the world, but in Eusephius’ depiction of the account of the bridge and the battle, he doesn’t mention Constantine’s vision or dream at all, that is, not until years later.
Constantine held a banquet for leaders of the Christian church in the year 325 (13 years after the battle of the Milvian Bridge). It was then that Constantine tells the story of the vision and dream where Jesus himself comes to him to explain the vision. It has quite an impact on Eusephius (who later writes it down) and his fellow bishops. He compares the vision told at the banquet to the coming of Jesus, which makes Constantine a Christ-like figure. He turned his so called vision into history and it was propagated in art; Mythology becoming history.
Constantine Divine?
On Constantine’s arch it describes him as divinely inspired. Inspired by what god? Though there are many pagan gods depicted on the arch, none is more prominent as apollo. Before following mithra, Constantine followed the official religion of the Roman Empire which was the Imperial Cult; a pagan religion that worshiped apollo above all else. Much like the pagan god mythras, apollo was a sun god that represented creation. Constantine considered himself a superhuman avatar, or link between the sun god apollo and humanity. There is a very large statue of Constantine that has dowel holes that were most likely an insert for a raid crown.
He allowed himself to be worshiped as a god. Destroyed in antiquity, Constantine had a bronze statue of himself riding in a chariot drawn by horses atop his arch. In his city Constantantinople, he didn’t build a Christian church, but rather a giant column that once had the pagan sun god apollo on top. Not with apollo’s face, but rather, his own.
Upon first glance, the far left arch of Constantine’s Arch appears to be two meters off center to where the road went through. Knowing Rome’s exceptional accuracy in buildings, a further investigation is required to find out why.
Based on ancient records, we know that in Constantine’s time, there was a colossal 30 meter high statue of apollo that stood 108 meters behind the Constantine's Arch. It was positioned so that one approaching the arch from a distance, would first see the statue of apollo, then getting closer, the statue of Constantine would rise above the statue of apollo. It is believed by scholars this is no accident.
Just as Constantine took the images of pagan sun gods, could it be that he also took the image of Jesus and refashioned it into his own image, thereby turning the anti-Roman rebels to him? There is evidence of this in the Archbishop’s Chapel in Ravenna Italy. In this chapel there is a sixth-century mosaic that depicts Jesus as a Roman Emperor dressed for command in military dress, a cross over his shoulder and a halo around his head. It was reported Constantine was buried with twelve caskets around perhaps to mimic the twelve apostles.
Location, Location, Location
Why would Constantine have his arch built right next to the coliseum where Christians were murdered for sport, right in line with the Flavius Arch that depicts boasting of the destruction of Jerusalem and robbing of the temple furniture such as the golden lamp stand?

How you position something with something else, is sacred geometry. He had his arch positioned right behind the remains of a large fountain built by one of Flavius’ sons who was known as one of the greatest persecutors of early Christianity. If Constantine really was a Christian, why would he want to associate himself so intimately with the Flavian Dynasty? The answer might have something to do with the fact his father's full name was Flavius Valerius Constantius and Constantine's full name was Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus.
Did Constantine promote Jesus' message or subvert it? Perhaps Constantine should be recognized not as a Christian who spread Christianity to the West, but rather by defeating Christianity (the true faith of the apostles), by redefining it.
Conclusion
The truth is, modern Christians are worshiping a Jesus created by a sun god worshiper who mixed his religion with true Christianity (the original faith of the apostles). This, along with the captivity of the Northern Tribes of Israel (Ten Lost Tribes) by the Assyrians, was how YHWH took the identity from His people after they insisted on worshiping other gods; until now (see “Identity Crisis” from the Table of Contents of this website). This is all proof His Word is true and He is in control.
